Forensic science degrees can open up many doors. A forensic
science degree can be general or you can have a specialty within
the field. A forensic scientist helps governmental agencies
investigate crimes. They collect evidence from crime scenes and
take physical samples that may lead to clues that help police or
law enforcement to learn the truth about the crime. Due to the
complexity of the technology available to a forensic laboratory
today, students often choose to specialize in one or two methods of
analysis or types of samples.
